London aka porcelain sneakerhead

One thing that I truly love is observing how an artist creates when he or she is in their element. Being able to see the emotions and thoughts that show on their faces as they are solving a problem or even to see how they manage other parts of their life, sparks curiosity in me. So I decided to create an artist profile of London, aka Porcelain Sneaker Head on social media in order to learn more about her process as an artist and her daily routine.

rhythm roulette with lonnie ro

Traveling back to Granada to visit my good friend Lonnie Ro. I first met Lonnie in 2016 in Los Angeles, where we are actually neighbors. As an artist, a creative, and as a person Lonnie has always inspired me. So when he asked me to help him document a video project for him that focused around his love for music and beat making, it was a no brainer. In this video, Lonnie guides us through the streets of Granada as he searches for the right mix of sounds to create his tracks for Rhythm Roulette. Rhythm Roulette is widely popular series on Youtube that asks music makers to select 3 vinyls blind-folded, then create 3 different tracks from the vinyls selected.

Lullabies

A visual inspired by Yuna’s song Lullabies. I first heard this song while out at the Santa Monica Pier during one their summer Twilight Concerts. The idea for the visual came from an Esperanza Spalding video for the song “Can’t Help It.” Tunisha, the model in the video, allowed me to use her apartment for the project and her apartment provided a lot of awesome natural light. I’ve always been a big fan of using natural light in videos as well as photography,
